Man Trapped In Vehicle In Co Armagh Rescued
Firefighters have rescued a man after the van he was driving got trapped in flood water in Co Armagh.
Emergency Services received a call just after 8am on Wednesday to attend the incident on the Armagh Road.
Three fire engines attended the scene and manual handling equipment was used to remove then man from the vehicle.
It is believed the man was driving through flood water which got into the engine of the vehicle.
He was treated at the scene but was not injured.
A spokesperson from the NIFRS said: "Do not attempt to drive through flooded roads. The water can be deeper than it looks. Find safe alternative route."

Two Men Arrested Following Police Pursuit In North Belfast
Two men have been arrested in connection with a police pursuit in North Belfast. It is understood that the police pursuit began late on Saturday, 21 July following reports that a vehicle had been involved in a theft at a shop on the Oldpark Road. The suspect vehicle was spotted by police just before midnight in the Ardoyne area and a pursuit began.

Police question man over West Belfast attack
A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an assault in the Lenadoon area of West Belfast. The incident took place on January 28, and the victim was left with serious head injuries. Police have appealed for anyone who may have information on the attack, to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Second Man Arrested Over Liverpool Hit-And-Run
A second man has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run in Liverpool in which Co Antrim man Matthew Bradley was killed. The 33-year-old man was detained on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving in Bradford. He has been conditionally bailed to appear in court in December, according to Merseyside Police.

BORDER CROSSED IN HOT PURSUIT INCIDENT
RUC officers who attempted to stop a suspicious van in Markethill fired a shot when one man made off across fields in South Armagh. Police had earlier spotted a suspicious van in Markethill on Tuesday June 26, but when the van did not stop police followed the vehicle from Markethill to the Keady area where it was abandoned.
