Ulsterbus Crashes In Co Down
A bus driver has been taken to hospital after the vehicle he was driving crashed onto a beach in Co Down.
The Ulsterbus went off at the Portaferry Road in Newtownards at around 6.30am on Wednesday.
No other vehicles were involved and there was no passengers on board at the time of the incident.
The driver's injuries are believed to be minor.
The road is expected to be closed later on today, 08 December, so the vehicle can be removed.

Operation Journal road checks hit law breakers
Around 500 vehicles were stopped during an hour long multi-agency vehicle checkpoint (VCP) in Belfast yesterday. Under the auspices of the Organised Crime Task Force, the operation, codenamed 'Operation Journal', was set up to detect use of illegal fuel and other infringements by road users.

A woman has died in a three vehicle crash in Co Down. The crash happened on the Belfast Road in Saintfield just before 6pm on Thursday, 06 July. A man is in a stable condition in hospital. Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Two police officers and a civilian remain in hospital following a collision in Newry on Saturday, 13 April. It is understood that the police officers were travelling in a police vehicle to attend a separate incident at about 7.30pm when they collided with another vehicle on the Fathom Road.

Two Arrested Following Car Theft And Dangerous Driving In Belfast
Two men have been arrested in connection with a car theft and dangerous driving incident in south Belfast. The incident began on Tuesday evening when a brown Range Rover Evoque was stolen from a public car park in the Ratcliffe Street area. The vehicle's owner discovered the theft upon returning to the parking lot around 10:30pm.
