Armed Burglars Attack Man In Newtownabbey
Four masked men, one armed with a hammer and one with a knife, forced their way into a house in Newtownabbey and assaulted the male occupant.
The burglary occurred in the Rathmore Drive area just after 9.30pm on Sunday.
The thugs also damaged a number of household items and a car which had been parked at the front of the house.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries, however they are not believed to be life threatening.
Detective Inspector Christopher Millar is appealing to anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area or who has any information to contact Detectives at Newtownabbey on the non-emergency number 101.

Body of man found on outskirts of Belfast
The body of a man has been found at a flat in the outskirts of Belfast, it has emerged today. The discovery of the 47-year-old's body was made at the flat in the Rathcoole estate, Newtownabbey, shortly after 9pm on Thursday. The police and ambulance service were immediately called to the scene, however it is not yet known how the man died.

Spate Of Overnight Burglaries In Newtownabbey
Police have launched an investigation after a number of house in the Newtownabbey area were broken into overnight. Detectives have issued an appeal for information after homes on St.Anne's Crescent, Carnvue Gardens, Carnvue Road areas were entered sometime between midnight and 7.30am today, Monday 29 November.

Detectives are appealing for information following a report of a burglary in Ahoghill on Tuesday, 12th November. Police received a report that the back door of a house on the Ballymena Road was forced open shortly before 6pm.
