Road accident leaves 15 people injured
A major road traffic accident has left 15 people injured in Co Antrim today.
The incident occurred when a minibus and articulated lorry collided on the Belfast Road near Larne at around 9.30am on Thursday.
Most of the injuries are minor however the driver of the lorry is believed to be in a serious condition in Antrim Area Hospital.
Traffic diversions were immediately put in place as the lorry turned on its side, blocking the Belfast bound carriageway. A substantial amount of diesel fuel is also believed to have spilled across the road.
Motorists travelling to nearby Larne ferry terminal are being asked to allow extra time for their journeys.

30-Year-Old Man Dies In Glenshane Pass Collision
Police have renewed an appeal for information on a fatal road traffic collision on the Glenshane Pass. A 30-year-old man died when the car he was driving was involved in a collision with a tanker lorry near the Ponderosa bar between Dungiven and Maghera at 05:20 on Monday 09 August.

Lorry Overturns In Co Tyrone
A lorry has crashed and overturned in Co Tyrone. It is understood the cement lorry crashed into a graveyard at St Mark's church. Police have said the Crossowen Road, between Augher and Clogher, is closed in both directions. The driver of the vehicle has been taken to hospital for treatment. It is understood his injuries are not life-threatening.

Number Of Roads Remain Closed Following Storm Ali
A number of roads remain closed across Northern Ireland following the damage caused by Storm Ali. The following roads are still closed, however the Department for Infrastructure (DfI) is working to clear the obstructions along with its multiagency partners.
