Maghaberry bomb alert a hoax
Police have declared a bomb alert in a Co Antrim village as a hoax.
A suspicious device was found in a car parked at a pub in the village of Maghaberry early this morning.
Several families had to be evacuated from their homes during the alert which was later declared a hoax after army bomb experts examined the device.
The alert was the second in the village in under 24 hours after a controlled explosion was carried out on a suspect package found outside a prison officer's home last night.
Police have warned local people to be vigilant following both incidents.
