SF Calls On Theresa Villiers To 'Get Real' Over Stormont Talks
Sinn Féin is calling on the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland to "get real" over the Stormont talks and blames government policies as the "root cause" of the current crisis.
Leader of the party, Gerry Adams, said the government's refusal to honour commitments made in previous agreements is at the heart of the difficulties facing the political process.
Mr Adams said: "Despite how many times Theresa Villiers tries to present herself as an independent broker the reality is that she and her government are key players in the negotiations and cannot escape their responsibilities.
"There is an onus on the British government to step up to the plate and ensure the Executive has workable and sustainable finances to allow it to deliver services and protect the most vulnerable."
