Kayak Of Missing NI Man Found In Scotland
A kayak believed to belong to missing Co Antrim man Robert Hanna has been found off the coast of Scotland.
The father of three went missing over five weeks ago after he failed to return from a kayaking trip off Islandmagee on 28 September.
Mr Hanna, 47, did not turn up to pick one of his children from school and the alarm was raised.
Extensive searches were carried out but nothing was found.
The kayak was discovered two weeks ago, however the police have only just released the information.
PSNI Supt Ryan Henderson said: "The investigation is ongoing to try and establish what has happened to Mr Hanna and we have endeavoured to update the family at every opportunity, including when the kayak was found, as we are aware how hard this is for them," he said.
"I would ask anyone who has any information that may assist us with our enquiries to contact the PSNI on the non-emergency number 101."
