Sage To Create 300 New Jobs In Dublin

Fine Gael has welcomed the announcement that Sage is to create 300 new jobs at its new base in Sandyford, Dublin.

Olivia Mitchell, Fine Gael TD for Dublin Rathdown, said: "By choosing to locate in Sandyford, Sage, Europe's second largest technology company, will join some of the premier tech companies.

"Sage is seeking a labour force comprised of high level professionals in marketing, sales and services and will benefit from the rich technology talent pool already established in Dublin Rathdown.

"These new jobs themselves will be a welcome boost to the Dublin Rathdown economy, as will the spin off jobs resulting from so many additional people working in the area."

Purepipe To Create Six New Jobs
Belfast-based Purepipe is investing £250,000 and creating six new jobs as part of plans to boost sales in Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland. Invest Northern Ireland has offered the company £45,000 towards its expansion which involves investing in new state-of-the-art specialised pipe manufacturing equipment needed to target new business.

Over 1,300 Jobs Announced In Ireland Last Week

US Insurance Firm To Create 200 New Jobs In Galway
Up to 200 new jobs are to be created by American insurance firm, MetLife at a new facility in Galway.
