Father And Son Burgled In Newtownabbey
Four masked men held a father and son in their own home and made off with a sum of cash in Newtownabbey, Co Antrim.
The accused forced their way into the property in the Carnreagh Bend area at around 10.30pm on Wednesday.
The father, aged 76, and son, aged 35, were held in the living room while the gang rummaged through drawers and cupboards before making off with a sum of cash.
Neither of the men were injured during the incident.
It is believed they made off in a dark coloured Volkswagen Passat.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Petrol Bomb Family Escape Injury
A Co Antrim family has escaped injury in a weekend petrol bomb attack. The mother, father and adult son - all members of the same family were in the house when the device was thrown through an upstairs window of the house at Kilmakevit Road in Cullybackey. The petrol bomb started a small fire but the occupants managed to extinguish it.

A father and son from Northern Ireland have been jailed for a series of burglary, aggravated burglary, assault and driving offences. James Hanrahan, 46, and his 28-year-old son John Hanrahan were handed four and five years respectively at Newry Crown Court yesterday, Wednesday 26 June.

Father And Son Assaulted In Co Down
A father and son have been assaulted by three masked men in Co Down. The incident happened at a house on the Castlewellan Road in Ballyward between 11.40pm on Thursday, 22 February, and 12.10am on Friday, 23 February. Two men were injured and a woman was treated for shock. Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Father And Son Jailed For Defrauding Customers
A father and son who defrauded their consumers and charged them more for fuel have been put behind bars. The pair ran an oil delivery company, D White & Sons, from Creighton's Green Road, in Holywood. Robert Stephen White, 56, received a 15-month custodial sentence.
