Man Seriously Injured In West Belfast Attack

A man has been seriously injured after being assaulted by a gang of men in west Belfast.

The attack happened at a property in the Greenland Street area at around 9pm on Sunday.

Four men entered a house and assaulted the 25-year-old occupant.

He is currently being treated in hospital.

Detective Constable Stuart Campbell said: "I would appeal to anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area or who has information to contact Detectives at Musgrave Reactive and Organised Crime on the non-emergency number 101. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111."

Disabled Pensioner Assaulted In Newry
A disabled pensioner is being treated in hospital after three men broke into his home and assaulted him in Newry. The attack happened in the Clogharevan Park area at around 2.40am on Monday. Pensioner Assaulted During Burglary In Lisburn
A man, aged in his 90s, has been assaulted during a burglary at his home in Lisburn. The attacked happened at a property in the Ballymacash area on Monday at around 10.45pm. The thug demanded car keys off the victim and made off in the residents blue Ford Mondeo. At approximately 11.

Man Injured Following Attack In Bangor
A man has been injured after a gang assaulted him in Bangor on Wednesday night. The incident occurred in the Central Avenue area at around 10.40pm. The victim, 42, received injuries to his head and torso, however they are not believed to be threatening.

Man 'Critical' Following East Belfast Attack
A man is in a critical condition in hospital after being attacked in east Belfast. The incident happened in the Templemore Avenue area in the early hours of Sunday. The 32-year-old victim was assaulted by another man shortly before 2.30am.
