Intelling To Create 250 New Posts

Enterprise, Trade and Investment Minister Jonathan Bell has announced that Intelling Ltd plans to establish a contact centre in Northern Ireland, creating 250 new jobs.

Intelling Ltd is a UK business service company and the new operations centre in Belfast forms part of its growth plans.

Recruitment started earlier this year at a temporary facility, with approval from Invest Northern Ireland, to allow Intelling Ltd to meet customer demand. As a result, 45 of the new jobs, which include management, supervisors and sales positions, are already in place.

Minister Bell said: "Intelling is an ambitious young company and I welcome its decision to choose Northern Ireland as the location for its expansion. This investment is positive news for our economy. It creates much needed jobs that offer flexible employment and the opportunity to develop transferable skills.

"Invest NI has offered the company support of over £990,000 to help with creating the new jobs and its skills development activities. This support, along with the quality pool of talent available here, helped Northern Ireland secure these new jobs against competition from the Republic of Ireland.

"The 250 new jobs, to be created over the next three years, will generate £4million annually in additional salaries and will appeal to a wide range of people including those returning to work, those who have experienced a period of unemployment as well as school leavers."
