Man Armed With Hammer Robs Bookmakers In West Belfast
A man armed with a hammer has robbed a bookmakers in west Belfast.
The incident occurred on the Grosvenor Road at approximately 8.50pm on Thursday.
The man entered the premises and threatened staff members before making off with a sum of cash.
He was wearing a grey hooded top, grey tracksuit bottoms with a scarf covering his face.
No-one was injured in the incident.
Detective Sergeant Kenneth Leckey is appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or anyone with any information, to contact Detectives in Musgrave Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.

Armed Man Attempts To Hijack Driver In Belfast
A man armed with a hammer attempted to hijack a delivery driver in Belfast on Friday night. The incident occurred on Albert Street shortly after 9.30pm. The armed man stepped onto the road in an apparent attempt to force the vehicle to stop. The driver avoided the male and as he drove around him, the male struck the side of the van with the hammer.

Man Hit By Firework In North Belfast
A man has sustained burn injuries after being hit by a firework at a fast food outlet in north Belfast. The incident happened at premises in the Alliance Avenue area at around 9.15pm on Friday, 14 October. An unknown man dropped the firework in the doorway and it hit another male. He is currently being treated in hospital.

A 13-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man have been arrested in connection with a racially-motivated attack in south Belfast. The pair allegedly bumped into a 55-year-old man on Tate's Avenue at around 10.10pm on Saturday, 09 July. The victim sustained cuts and bruises to his face and hands during the attack.
