Thugs Rob Home In Finaghy

A mother and her two children have been left "very distressed" after their home in Finaghy was robbed on Thursday night.

Thieves entered the property in Diamond Gardens just before 10pm.

The intruders threatened and demanded money from the woman. Her young son and daughter were in the house at the time.

The thugs made off with money, jewellery and also stole their Nissan X Trail SUV car.

Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Elderly Woman Loses Sentimental Jewellery In Robbery
A 96-year-old woman has been left distressed after her house in south Belfast was targeted in a robbery. Intruders targeted the home on Finaghy Road South at around 9pm last Friday, 15 March, and stole sentimental jewellery. The woman was not believed to have been confronted during the ordeal, but has been left shaken.

Man In Court Over Drugs, Money Laundering And Immigration Offences
A man has been charged with a number of drugs, money laundering and immigration offences. The 51-year-old was arrested following a PSNI operation which also involved police in Sussex and Home Office Immigration officials in London on Monday, 19 February. The suspect was detained and a sum of cash was also seized.

Thugs Use Forklift To Steal ATM In Co Armagh
Police are appealing for information after thugs used a forklift to rip an ATM machine out of a wall in Keady, Co Armagh. The incident happened in the Victoria Street area just before 2am on Wednesday, 21 March. Significant damage was caused by the forklift and the cash inside the ATM was stolen.

Woman held hostage in £1 million south Belfast robbery
Police in Belfast are investigating the suspected theft of up to £1 million in cash from a security firm on the outskirts of the city. One woman is believed to have been held hostage during the robbery which reportedly took place at Creighton's filling station in the Finaghy area of south Belfast on Tuesday morning.

County Tyrone Woman Robbed In 'Distraction' Burglary
Police in Co Tyrone are appealing for information following a distraction burglary at an elderly woman's home. An man called at the 90-year-old woman's home in the Linen Court area of Dungannon at around 5pm on Thursday. He told the woman he had seen a burglar entering her home and advised her to check the house to ensure nothing had been taken.
