Woman Threatened By Man Armed With A Knife In South Belfast

A young woman has been threatened by a man with a knife in her bedroom is south Belfast.

The incident happened at a property in the Ireton Street area at approximately 2.45pm on Friday.

The 19-year-old victim was told to stay in her room and the man stole a laptop.

He is described as having a Belfast accent, around 5ft 7ins in height, with short brown hair. He was wearing a blue and white checked shirt, dark trousers and was carrying a pink rucksack type bag.

PSNI Detective Constable Anita Cummings said: "There were two other burglaries in the area that day.

"A tablet and camera was stolen from premises in the India Street area, while a games console and games were taken from a house in the Ireton Street area.

"A knife was left behind at this address."

Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Two questioned following stabbing

PSNI Appeal For Help Tracing Missing Belfast Man
The PSNI have issued an appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of 31-year-old Conor Bradley. Conor was last seen on Saturday, 29 January. He is described as 6'6", of slim build with ginger hair. He is believed to be in the Belfast area, according to police. Anyone with any information about Conor or his whereabouts is urged to contact police.
