Nitronica Secures New Export Sales
Nitronica, located in Ballynahinch, has secured new export sales as well as an ongoing business partnership from the advice and expertise of Invest NI's technical advisory unit.
Nitronica, a Contract Electronic Manufacturer, supplies electro and mechanical solutions to aerospace, defence, telecoms, and industrial sectors. The solutions provided a range from cable and PCB assemblies through to the design, refinement and supply of high quality, integrated products.
John Mellon, Managing Director of Nitronica, said: "Earlier this year we sought advice from Invest NI's technical experts on the best approach to expand our services to include bus bar interconnection for a range of applications. The focus on this development stemmed from customer demand.
"To be in a position to gain additional contracts, we needed join forces with Northern Ireland businesses already involved in bus bar system design and integration.
"Invest NI put us in contact with Kane Engineering from Newtownards who have more than 40 years' experience in low voltage switchgear and bus bar design and manufacture. Together we submitted a joint tender and secured a valuable order supplying bus bar interconnections to the Republic of Ireland.
"This partnership with Kane Engineering has been a tremendous benefit to our business and the advice from Invest NI's Technical Advisory Unit was crucial in supporting us to progress this new and exciting opportunity."
