Man And Woman Attacked In Ballymena

A man and woman are being treated in hospital after being assaulted by masked men in County Antrim.

A group of masked men forced their way into a house on the Ballybogey Road in Ballymena in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

A man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is being questioned by the police.

Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

The victim remains in hospital.

Co Fermanagh man suffers broken nose in robbery
A Co Fermanagh man has suffered a broken nose after being assaulted by two men at his home in Enniskillen. The 65-year-old man was confronted by two men who forced their way into his home on Sunday. They then assaulted him before robbing his home. It is understood that a sum of money was taken during the robbery.

Four Men Arrested Over Explosive Device In West Belfast Released
Four men arrested in connection with an explosive device in west Belfast last year have been released from custody. The device was found in the Pantridge Road area on 30 October. Three men arrested under the Terrorism Act have been released unconditionally.

Appeal After Masked Men Force Entry Into Home Of Elderly Man
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information after five masked me forced entry into the home of an man aged in his 70s, on the Saintfield Road. Police received a report shortly before 11.30pm on Saturday, 17th February that between 10pm and 10.30pm on the same evening, five masked men entered a house in the Saintfield Road area.
