Two Men Released Over Attack In Armagh

Two men have been released on bail following a serious attack on a 20-year-old man in County Armagh on Sunday.

The assault occurred in the Millford area, off the Monaghan Road.

A 20-year-old man sustained head and facial injuries and remains in a serious condition in hospital.

The men, aged 24 and 25, were released pending further inquiries.

Two Men Arrested Over George Gilmore Murder Released
Two men have been arrested in connection with the murder of George Gilmore have been released unconditionally. Mr Gilmore, aged 44, was shot in the neck in Carrickfergus on Monday, 13 March. He died from his injuries in hospital the following day, 14 March. The two suspects were detained in Co Antrim on Wednesday, 29 March.

Six Men Arrested Over Paramilitary Style Shootings Released
Six men arrested in connection with paramilitary style shootings in west Belfast have been released unconditionally. The men, aged between 29 and 50, were detained by police on Monday, 28 November, following a number of searches. They were released unconditionally on Tuesday, 30 November.

Two Arrested In Connection With Dissident Republican Activity Released
Two men arrested in connection with dissident republican activity have been released. The pair, aged 31 and 22, were arrested in Co L'Derry on Thursday, 31 March. They were questioned at a police station in Belfast. The pair were released unconditionally.
