CMASS Celebrates Fifth Anniversary

Enterprise, Trade and Investment Minister, Jonathan Bell, has joined the fifth anniversary celebrations of Mallusk based manufacturing service company CMASS.

As part of the celebrations the Minister also announced a company investment of more than £500,000 and the creation of five new jobs.

The investment elevates CMASS to Electronic Contract Manufacturing (ECM) status meaning it can now fully build, assemble, test and repair electronic systems and products and provide Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) capability alongside its existing Wiring Harness and Software Media Duplication services.

The Minister said: "CMASS is a dynamic local company and I am pleased to be here today to mark their fifth birthday. The investment of more than £500,000 by the company and the support offered by Invest Northern Ireland, of a £62,933 capital grant, demonstrates a commitment to the future by this high growth business. In its early days, CMASS provided labour only production services, however through this latest investment in a state-of-the-art Printed Circuit Board Assembly capability, CMASS has developed into one of Northern Ireland's leading manufacturing services companies."
