Hit-And-Run Incident 'Horrific' - Kelly

Antrim Councillor Neil Kelly has said the injuring of a man in a hit-and-run incident in Crumlin was a "horrific incident".

The Alliance Councillor was speaking after the man was struck while walking along Main Street in the village shortly before 3am on Saturday. Police said the man was shouted at by the driver of a green Seat Leon, who then turned the car and hit him. The pedestrian was treated in hospital for a leg injury.

"This was a horrific crime and my thoughts are with the victim," said Councillor Kelly.
