NIHE To Carry Out External Cyclical Maintenance Works
The Northern Ireland Housing Executive (NIHE) is to carry out External Cyclical Maintenance works in the Barrs Lane area in L'Derry.
SDLP Cllr Shauna Cusack has welcomed the work, which is due to start in September.
Ms Cusack said: "It was during a routine call on constituents in Hazelbank that we were asked by a number of residents for help in securing maintenance for the area. Many Housing Executive properties are in need of exterior maintenance including the repainting of properties.
"After approaching the Housing Executive to see if they could facilitate with these requests, we are delighted to confirm that these ECM jobs are on schedule to be started in September. Naturally these projects are always subject to funding but we are hopeful there should be no delays."
