bmi introduces extra Belfast to Heathrow flight
One of the UK's leading airlines, bmi, has strengthened its links with Northern Ireland by increasing its services between Belfast City and Heathrow airports.
From 1 December until the end of March 2004 an additional flight will operate Mondays to Fridays, increasing the total number of weekday services from eight to nine. Weekend frequencies will remain at the current levels of seven flights daily.
Valerie Ward, bmi sales manager for Ireland, said: “This is another clear indication of our determination to strengthen and extend our commitment to Northern Ireland. Our new schedule will be appealing to our business customers and leisure travellers alike, with a bmi flight to Heathrow to choose from approximately every two hours and in some cases even less.
"The improved schedule will also ensure that we continue to provide excellent connections at Heathrow for onward travel throughout the world on bmi services and through our partners in Star Alliance.”
