Police Appeal After Pensioner Disturbs Burglar In North Belfast

Police are appealing for information after a pensioner disturbed a burglar at her home in north Belfast.

The incident occurred in the Innisfayle Road area on Monday morning.

The woman was in the upstairs of the property when she disturbed the male burglar.

He was wearing a grey coloured coat.

Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact Musgrave Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.

Woman Assaulted By Burglar In Co Tyrone
Police have issued an appeal for information after a woman was assaulted at her County Tyrone home by a burglar. It is understood that at about 4.30am on Sunday, 22 April, the woman was awoken by a noise at her home on Mourne Avenue in Coalisland. The woman was confronted by an intruder who slapped her and demanded money.

Police Appeal For Information On North Belfast Burglary
Police have issued an appeal for information following the burglary of an elderly woman's home in north Belfast. Thieves broke into the property on the Old Cave Hill Road at about 8am on Sunday, 29 July. It is understood that the elderly homeowner was in the house at the time of the burglary but was not harmed.

Police appeal for information following north Belfast robbery
Police in north Belfast are appealing for information following an armed robbery in a convenience store in the area last night. A masked man, believed to be armed with a handgun, entered the shop on the lower Antrim Road at around 9pm. He threatened staff before making off with the contents of a safe, which has been reported as being substantial.
