Two Men Arrested Following Cannabis Find In Cookstown
Two men have been arrested following a suspected cannabis find, worth an estimated street value of £200,000, in Cookstown.
Police discovered the cannabis factory at a house in the Keenaghan Road area on Tuesday.
A quantity of herbal cannabis and a number of suspected cannabis plants in various stages of growth were seized.
Detective Sergeant Martin McAuley said: "The two men have both been arrested on suspicion of possession of a class B controlled drug, possession of a class B controlled drug with intent to supply and cultivating cannabis. Both currently remain in custody assisting police with their enquiries."

Three Charged Over Sudden Deaths In Lisburn
Three people have been charged following an investigation into the sudden deaths of two men in the Lisburn area, in May and August of 2023. A 35-year-old woman has been charged with a number of drug-related offences, including being concerned in the supply of a Class A controlled drug, and administering poison to aggrieve.

Man Charged Over £16,000 Cannabis Find
A 22-year-old man has been charged after £16,000 worth of cannabis plants were seized in L'Derry. The discovery was made after police searched a house in the Waterside area on Friday, 22 September. The suspect has been accused of growing cannabis, possession of a Class B drug and intent to supply.
