Police Appeal Following Armed Robbery In L'Derry

Police are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery at a hotel in L'Derry on Sunday.

An unknown man, carrying a suspected firearm, entered the premises on the Prehen Road and threatened staff before making off with a sum of cash just after 6pm.

The man is described as being aged in his 30s, with black coloured hair and thick greying stubble. He had a Southern accent and was wearing a black coloured hooded top and dark coloured jeans.

Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Police Appeal After Man Dies In Castlewellan Collision
A man, aged in his 50s, has died in a collision in Castlewellan. The crash happened on the Carnreagh Road on Monday, 05 December, between 9.30am and 10am. The PSNI are appealing for witnesses who saw a purple coloured Isuzu pick-up truck and trailer to contact them. The road was closed, however it has since been re-opened.

PSNI Investigate Three Separate Incidents Across Co Down
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information on three incidents in County Down on Monday 15 May, which they believe are connected. At around 6.45pm, police received a report of a black coloured Audi car being driven with two masked men inside and tape covering the vehicle registration plates in the Millisle Road area of Donaghadee.

Police Appeal Following Two Armed Robberies In North And South Belfast
Police are appealing for information in connection with two armed robberies in north and south Belfast. A man, armed with a knife, threatened staff at a shop on the Ravenhill Road at around 8.20pm on Friday, 01 April. A sum of money was taken and the man got into a silver car which was parked on My Lady's Road.

North Belfast Stabbing Believed To Be Racially-Motivated Attack
Police have issued an appeal for information following a stabbing incident in north Belfast, which is believed to have been racially-motivated. A man, aged in his 30s, was found collapsed inside a vehicle on the Antrim Road just before 1am on Saturday 15 January. He had suffered a number of stab wounds to his chest and abdomen.
