Building Petrol Bombed In North Belfast

A building has been extensively damaged following a petrol bomb attack in north Belfast.

Police received a report of a building being on fire and the NI Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene on Sunday at around 1.30am.

A number of windows were smashed and three petrol bombs were thrown in. Two of the petrol bombs ignited causing slight scorch damage to a ground floor office.

An unexploded pipe bomb was also discovered at the scene. It has been taken for forensic examination.

Taxi petrol bombed in north Belfast
A taxi has been petrol bombed in north Belfast overnight as a loyalist feud continues to escalate in the area. One man was arrested and subsequently released on police bail pending further enquiries following the incident which occurred in the Silverstream Avenue area just after midnight.

Enniskillen House Fire Bombed
A petrol bomb has been thrown at a house in the Drumbeg area of Enniskillen. A window at the back of the house was damaged while paint was thrown at the front of the building around 2.20am this morning. The Alliance Fermanagh and South Tyrone representative Hannah Su has condemned the petrol bomb attack.

Petrol Bomb Attacks Target Fountain - Again
A fourth petrol bomb attack on a Londonderry interface has further heightened tensions in the area. The mainly Protestant Fountain estate in central Derry has seen several attacks which have this week led to warnings from both nationalist and unionist politicians that someone could be killed in a confrontation.

Women Attacked And House Petrol Bombed In Lurgan Disturbance
Two woman have been assaulted and a petrol bomb thrown during a disturbance at a house in Lurgan. The PSNI received a report at around 8.20pm that two females had entered a property in Headington Manor at around 7.30pm on Sunday 10 February.
