Orange Hall In Co Antrim Vandalised With Graffiti
An attack on an Orange Hall in Co Antrim is being treated as a hate crime, police have said.
Graffiti was painted on the walls of the building in Main Street, Rasharkin, at some point over the weekend.
Superintendent John Magill has said the vandalism is being treated as a hate crime.
He also appealed for anyone with information to contact police.
North Antrim Sinn Féin MLA Daithí McKay has condemned the attack.
He said: "This was a mindless attack on the Orange Hall in Rasharkin and in no way represents the views of the people that live here.
"A lot of work takes place to ensure that tensions are not raised here over the summer period and this will continue regardless.
"This attack does nothing but bring the name of the village down. Those who carry out these attacks represent nobody."
