Belfast Harbour To Invest £120m In Infrastructure Projects
Belfast Harbour is to invest £120m in new infrastructure projects over the next three years.
Figures recorded in the Harbour's 2014 annual report revealed that turnover increased by 4% to £52.6m, while Profits before Tax climbed 8% to a record £29.4m.
The Harbour also paid £10m in tax during the year.
David Dobbin, Belfast Harbour's Chairman, said: "The Harbour's strategy of long-term investment for long-term growth has served us well. This will continue through a pipeline of capital expenditure projects totaling £120 million.
"Projects include a bespoke cruise facility and addressing the continuing shortage of Grade A office accommodation in Belfast by further developing the City Quays scheme. Last week the Board approved a £20 million spend on the City Quays 2 building."

SS Nomadic to return to Belfast in July
The SS Nomadic will return to Belfast in July, the Department of Social Development has today revealed. The SS Nomadic was built at Harland and Wolff in Belfast in 1910 and was originally used to ferry first-class passengers to and from both the Titanic and its sister ship, the Olympic.

Former City Airport chief joins Harbour Commissioners
The former head of Belfast City Airport has been appointed Chief Executive of Belfast Harbour Commissioners. John Doran, who oversaw the construction of the new £20 million terminal at Belfast City, replaces Gordon Irwin who retired from Belfast Harbour Commissioners the end of last year.

Two New Belfast Harbour Commissioners Appointed
Two city councillors have been appointed to the Belfast Harbour Commissioners. Belfast City Council's Patrick Convery and Danny Lavery will replace predecessors incumbent Lord Mayor Tom Hartley and councillor Alban Maginness. Regional Development Minister, Conor Murphy, has welcomed the appointments.
