3fivetwo Group To Acquire St Joseph's Hospital In Sligo
A private healthcare firm based in Northern Ireland has announced it has agreed to buy St Joseph's Hospital in Sligo.
3fivetwo Group said the sale expected to close in coming weeks.
The 19-bed private hospital in Garden Hill will be rebranded Kingsbridge Private Hospital Sligo, after the Group’s flagship property, Kingsbridge Private Hospital in Belfast.
All 60 staff jobs at the hospital will be secured and 3fivetwo aims to create new jobs and foster a wider range of services going forward.
Mark Regan, Group Development Director, said: "This is good news for the North West and good news for 3fivetwo, continuing our growth in the healthcare sector and enhancing our position as a vertically integrated healthcare provider which offers true patient choice."

Experts have revealed the cause of death of the famous ancient Egyptian mummy on display at Belfast's Ulster Museum. Takabuti's life ended violently, a research team has found, as she died following a knife attack. The findings were made public on the 185th anniversary of her unwrapping in 1835.

Hospitals in Northern Ireland are struggling to deal with the effects of a common virus which has left people waiting on trollies for beds and caused a severe backlog in surgery. NI independent healthcare provider, 3fivetwo Group, has announced it is to create 20 new jobs. The firm is also planning to expand this year and is spending an additional £350,000 on its Training Academy at Boucher Road in Belfast.
