Man Left Shaken Following Distraction Burglary
Police in Newry are appealing for information after a man was left shaken following a distraction burglary.
A man called to a house in Lower Dromore Road, Warrenpoint, and claimed to be from the council on Friday.
The man took the male occupant of the house into the back garden. It is believed two other men entered the house, ransacked upstairs and stole a sum of cash.
The three men made off in a dark coloured Nissan Almera.
Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

A man aged in his 50s has died in a house fire in Magherafelt, Co L'Derry An investigation has been launched into the cause of the fire at a house on Highfield Road, however police said that they don't believe the fire was suspicious. The man's identity has not yet been released.

PSNI Detectives are appealing for information following a burglary in Belfast city centre on Wednesday, 05 March. Four men, wearing balaclavas, gloves and dark clothing, entered a house in the Finchley Vale area at approximately 7.30pm.

Pensioner attacked at home during burglary
Police are appealing for information after a 79-year-old man was attacked by a gang of masked men at his home on the outskirts of west Belfast. The incident occurred at the man’s home in Glengoland Avenue, just off the Stewartstown Road, at about 9pm on Wednesday.

Women attacked with tar in west Belfast
Police are appealing for information after two women were attacked and covered in tar in their west Belfast home at the weekend. Three hooded men smashed the front windows of a house in Hopewell Crescent in the Shankill area at about 6.50pm on Sunday before entering the property and throwing a tar-like substance over the two women.
