NuoDB To Create 20 New Jobs In Belfast
NuoDB has announced it is to establish a software engineering centre in Belfast, creating 20 new jobs.
Supported by Invest Northern Ireland, the centre will have 20 highly skilled and experienced software engineers developing database solutions designed to support "cloud-scale" applications and connected devices.
Invest NI has offered support of £100,000 to help create the new jobs and secure the project for Northern Ireland.
Barry Morris, CEO and co-founder of NuoDB, said: "We see demand for our database management system growing rapidly and hence the need to expand our engineering team to support our customers.
"During the Web Summit in November 2014, I accepted an invitation from Invest NI to visit Northern Ireland and explore the possibility of opening an office here. Invest NI's support played a major role in our decision to choose Belfast."

Minister Announces Extension To Board Of Ulster Supported Employment Limited
Employment and Learning Minister Dr Stephen Farry has announced an extension to the appointment of Mr Brian McMurray to the Board of Ulster Supported Employment Limited (USEL). The extension takes effect from 1 January 2012 for a period of one year. Mr McMurray was appointed in January 2006 and re-appointed 1 January 2009.
