Shots Fired At Flat In West Belfast

Shots have been fired at a house in west Belfast.

The attack occurred in the Glen Road area in the early hours of Friday morning.

Two windows were smashed in the incident.

A woman in her 20's was in the property at the time, however she was not injured.

Sinn Féin MLA Rosie McCorley said: "This attack was wrong and must be condemned by everyone.

"Thankfully the young woman who lived in the flat was uninjured but it must have been a very frightening and traumatic experience.

"There is no justification for attacks like this and those responsible have nothing to offer the community."

Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
