Two Injured In Newtownabbey Attack

Two men have been injured following an attack in Newtownabbey on Monday night.

A group of men assaulted the two men in Braden Glen at around 10.30pm.

One of the victims is believed to have a suspected broken arm and leg, while the other man suffered swelling to the side of his head and a cut on his nose. However, their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Two Men Assaulted In Newtownabbey
Two men, aged in their 50s, have sustained head injuries after being assaulted during a break-in at a house in Newtownabbey. The attack happened at a house in the Clonmore Walk area at around 8.30pm on Saturday, 06 January. Three men armed with baseball bats smashed a window of the property and attacked the men.

Two Men Injured During Paramilitary-Style Attack In L'Derry
Two men have been injured following a paramilitary-style attack in L'Derry on Sunday night. The attack happened in the Galliagh area of the city at around 10pm. A gang of masked men forced their way into a flat and assaulted two male occupants with what is believed to have been baseball bats and iron bars.

Stabbing At Belfast College
Two people have been stabbed in an incident at the Millfield campus of Belfast Metropolitan College. One of the injured men is described as being in a critical condition, according to reports. The second injured man is understood to have been detained by police at the scene of the incident and is being treated as a suspect.

Woman Attacked With Metal Bar In Ballycastle
Police have issued an appeal for witnesses after a woman was attacked with a metal bar in the early hours of Sunday 19 August in Ballycastle, Co Antrim. A 27-year-old was attacked at about 1.45am on Fairhill Street. A 29-year-old man has been detained in connection with the incident. Police have appealed for witnesses to the incident.

Man Suffers Serious Head Injury In Coleraine Assault
A man has been seriously injured following an attack in Coleraine on Sunday. The 27-year-old man received a serious head injury during the incident on the Castlerock Road. He is currently being treated in hospital. Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
