Tascomi To Create 13 New Jobs
Tascomi, based in Hillsborough, has announced it is to create 13 new jobs.
The firm, which creates web-based software for local authorities, is also hoping to export its solutions to Canada
Tascomi products are used in the electronic management of public protection, environmental health, dog licensing and inspections. It is embarking on an expansion following an investment of £100,000, supported by Danske Bank. The investment has also enabled Tascomi to expand and renovate its office space.
Tascomi managing director Richard Martin said: "Up until this year we were mainly working for the public sector in Northern Ireland but more recently we have expanded into the rest of the UK and Ireland.
"Our success in Wales required fast access to increased working capital, an investment which has helped us to look at opportunities in other export markets. This year we are hoping to export our solutions to Canada.
"Danske Bank saw that we were a small, indigenous company with aspirations to expand into new markets and they very quickly got behind our plans and provided vital support which has enabled us to take the next step."
