Met Office Issues Yellow Weather Warning For NI
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for Northern Ireland due to an "unseasonably windy spell" hitting parts of the UK.
Strong winds of up to 60mph are expected to move across the country later today, 1 June.
Heavy rain is also expected, while large waves have been predicted along the south and east coasts.
A Met Office spokesperson said: "Given the unseasonable nature of the winds, the public should be aware of the potential for disruption to transport and outdoor activities. Damage to some trees seems likely."
