Enviro Group Develops Franchise Model In GB
Enviro Group based in Warrenpoint has successfully developed a franchise model in Great Britain for its kitchen duct cleaning services.
The company now aims to roll out a similar strategy in the Republic of Ireland in the coming weeks.
Invest Northern Ireland offered the company over £45,000 towards this investment. This involved recruiting a Franchise Business Development Manager and also a Training/Auditing Manager to deliver Enviro Group’s franchise development plan and ensure that appropriate training is provided to franchisees. Enviro Group also secured a £50,000 loan from Growth Loan Fund towards its investment.
Paul Devenny, Managing Director of Enviro Group, said: "Our partnership working with Invest NI helped us realise the potential to export our services to markets outside Northern Ireland via a franchise development model. The market development support and recruitment grant we received enabled us to quickly progress our investment plans.
"Securing funding through the Growth Loan Fund was also a valuable catalyst for driving this work. To date, we have a franchise in Manchester trading successfully with others to follow in Preston, Birmingham, Glasgow and Dublin over the coming weeks."
Finance for the £50m Growth Loan Fund – which provides loans to established Northern Ireland SMEs seeking to access growth finance – has been provided by Invest Northern Ireland and private investor, Northern Ireland Local Government Officers’ Superannuation Committee (NILGOSC).
Enviro Group's Dublin franchise is scheduled to open on 8th June.
