Man Arrested Over Dissident Activity Released Unconditionally

A man who was arrested in L'Derry by police investigating violent dissident terrorist criminality has been released.

The 20-year-old was arrested on Tuesday.

He was taken to Antrim police station for questioning.

The man was released unconditionally on Tuesday evening.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder
A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Charged In Possession Of Heroin
A man is to appear in court charged in possession of heroin. Police arrested five people during searches of a property in Newry on Wednesday, 16 January. Two men have also been charged in possession of a Class A drug. A 50-year-old woman has also been charged with permitting premises to be used for the supply of a Class A drug.

Police renew murder appeal
Police have renewed their appeal into the murder of a man in Co Down last month. Andrew Cully, a father of two teenage boys from Greyabbey, was shot up to 10 times as he sat in his parked car in the loyalist West Winds estate in Newtownards on 24 March. Detectives want to speak to anyone who saw Mr Cully sitting in his car prior to the shooting.

Bangor Death Not Treated As Suspicious
The post-mortem examination of a man found dead in a garden in Bangor has revealed that his death was not suspicious. Police have ruled out foul play following the fatality in Bangor's Crochan Court on Tuesday 28 January.
