Elderly Woman Left Badly Shaken Following Burglary In Newtownabbey
An elderly woman has been left badly shaken after burglars broke into her flat in Newtownabbey.
The incident occurred in Glenvarna Walk in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Two masked men entered the property by breaking glass in the door just after midnight.
The two men made off as soon as they seen the woman. She was not injured, however she was left badly shaken.
Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Woman Left Badly Shaken Following Car Hijacking In Belfast
A 60-year-old woman was left badly shaken following a car hijacking in Belfast. The incident happened at the Northside Park and Ride Carpark at around 5pm On Wednesday, 13 July. Two men entered the woman's car while she was in it and physically took the car keys from her. She was badly shaken, however she was not injured.

A pensioner has been left badly shaken following a robbery in Co Armagh. The incident occurred at a house in the Tirmacrannon Road area of Loughgall on Tuesday evening. The victim, aged in his 80s, was pushed against a kitchen counter by the intruder who also stole his wallet.

A woman has been left badly shaken following an armed robbery at a Chinese takeaway in north Belfast. The incident occurred at premises on the Cliftonville Road area at around 12.30am on Saturday. A man armed with a knife threatened staff and made off with a sum of cash.

Three men in court over carjacking
Three men were due to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court today in connection with the hijacking of a car on the outskirts of Belfast. A 19-year-old man and an 18-year-old man will be charged with hijacking, while a 21-year-old man will be charged with aiding and abetting the hijacking.
