Two Teens Charged After Reversing Stolen Car Into Police Vehicle

Two teenagers have been charged after a stolen car they were driving reversed into a police car.

The car, which is believed to have been taken from the Kent Street area of Belfast, was seen being driven erratically on the Whitecliff Parade on Tuesday evening.

The vehicle was spotted around an hour later by police on the Falls Road.

Officers attempted to apprehend the youths, however the driver reversed into the police vehicle which caused damage.

Police officers also received minor injuries during the incident.

A 15-year-old is due to appear in court today, 20 May, and a 14-year-old is to appear at Belfast Magistrates' Court on 15 June.

Police Appeal After 'Shot Fired' In North Belfast
Police have launched an investigation after reports of a shot being fired in north Belfast. No-one is believed to have been injured in the incident in the Farringdon Court area on Thursday. Police are keen to establish what happened and are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Police Vehicle Damaged In Car Theft Getaway
A police vehicle has been rammed during a car theft in Belfast in the early hours this morning, Wednesday 04 November. Officers were called to an incident in the Dunmore Avenue area where a number of males had gained entry to a red Mitsubishi Colt. They attended the area and observed the stolen vehicle on the Cavehill Road area.
