Dates Announced For Belfast Photo Festival
The third biennial Belfast Photo Festival is to take place from 4 to 30 June.
The festival, which will be staged across a range of venues, will explore the theme of photography's 'Convergence' with other art forms through exhibitions, workshops, screenings, masterclasses, reviews and tours.
This year's festival aims to make photography accessible to everyone of all ages and tastes.
Some of the key highlights for this year's festival include The Iris Colour Photo Park at Writer's Square including an exhibition of work celebrating Belfast's aspiring young photographers; The DeLorean Print Project at City Hall, featuring a celebratory commemorative sculpture converging with photography that celebrates the 35th anniversary of the unveiling of the car as well as the year visited in the film Back to the Future 2 (2015); a talk by Mentalgassi who converge street art with photographs – watch out for some of their work in the Cathedral Quarter during the festival; and the Urban Photo Walk, which encourages people to take a camera and photograph some of Belfast's architecture.

Alliance Welcomes Launch Of Community Festival
Alliance MLA Chris Lyttle has welcomed the launch of a community festival which will see Van Morrison play special homecoming concerts. The EastSide Arts Festival will see a wide range of events, including music, film, talks, workshops and exhibitions, take place at various locations throughout East Belfast.

Belfast City Council has announced the Imagine Arts Festival 2015 is to take place at The Ulster Hall on Tuesday 20 October. The festival is an opportunity for older people to turn back the clock and recapture special experiences, memories, interests and skills during a packed programme of captivating cultural events and workshops.
