Two Men Arrested Over West Belfast Burglary

Two men have been arrested in connection with a burglary in west Belfast.

The men also attempted to attack the occupant in the property in the Forfar Street area on Sunday morning.

The pair, who were armed with wheel braces, smashed the front door and windows, and attempted to assault a man.

The victim was not injured but was left badly shaken, according to the police.

Another man and woman who were in the property were unharmed, but also left badly shaken.

A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary, making threats to kill, criminal damage and driving offences. 

A 44 year old man has also been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and criminal damage.

Man Arrested Over Aggravated Burglary Released
A man arrested in connection with an aggravated burglary in west Belfast has been released. Three men forced their way into a house in the Earlscourt Street area shortly before 9pm on Friday, 08 December. The suspects had a gun and made demands before running off, according to the PSNI.

Woman And Children Left Badly Shaken Following Aggravated Burglary
A woman and her three children have been left very badly shaken following an aggravated burglary in Downpatrick. The incident happened at a house on the Ribadoo Road near Ballyward at around 7.30pm on Monday, 10 October. Three men, two with suspected firearms and a hammer, threatened the woman and demanded money.

Man Arrested In Connection With Aggravated Burglary In Enniskillen
A 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary with intent to commit grievous bodily harm in connection with an incident in Enniskillen. Detectives are investigating an aggravated burglary at a property in the Cavandale area of Enniskillen on Wednesday, 28th September.

Appeal For Information On Aggravated Burglary In Cookstown
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a report of an aggravated burglary at the Queens Avenue area of Cookstown on Friday 3rd February. Shortly after 10pm, it was reported that four masked men entered a property in the area with one of the men armed with an iron bar and another man armed with a suspected firearm.

Man Left 'Badly Shaken' Following Aggravated Burglary In Belfast
A man has been left "very badly shaken" following an aggravated burglary at a house in Belfast. The incident happened at a property in the Fort Road area at around 9.50pm on Monday, 02 May. Two men forced their way into the house, put the victim in a room and searched the property. They stole two sets of keys, locked the house and made off.
