New Appointments Announced To The Board Of The Consumer Council
Enterprise, Trade and Investment Minister Arlene Foster has announced the appointment of a new Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson to the Board of the Consumer Council for Northern Ireland.
Sheila McClelland has been appointed as Chairperson and Judena Goldring as Deputy Chairperson. The appointments commenced on 1 April 2015 and are for a three year period.
Commenting on the appointments, Arlene Foster said: "The new appointees are taking up their roles at a very challenging time for consumers. Their extensive experience in public administration and the skills and talents they are bringing to their respective roles, will no doubt be of great value to the Consumer Council, as it pursues its aims of championing and safeguarding the interests of consumers in Northern Ireland."
