SF President Receives Bomb Warning

Sinn Féin president Gerry Adams received a bomb warning at his home in west Belfast on Wednesday morning.

Mr Adams said the party will not be deterred or intimidated by bomb threats and attacks.

He said: "In recent weeks there has been a concerted series of threats and attacks on the homes of Sinn Féin members.

"There can be no place for these type of actions nor will they deter Sinn Fein from working to advance the peace process and advance our political objectives."

Gerry Adams: Bomb Warning 'Nothing Untoward'
Police investigating a bomb warning at the home of Sinn Féin President Gerry Adams have found "nothing untoward". Police were alerted to the Norfolk Drive area in west Belfast on Wednesday morning, however no device was found. Overnight gun and pipe bomb attacks
A number of people have escaped injury after a series of gun and pipe bomb attacks on their homes in County Antrim. A ten-year-old boy escaped in jury after shots were fired into a house at Mounthill Drive in Cloughmills, County Antrim.

Sinn Fein members threatened over agreement
Senior members of Sinn Fein have had to step up personal security for fear of attack from dissident republicans who are opposed to the proposed changes to the party's policing issues. The party has already been warned that an attack is possible as a bid to derail the current political process of restoring devolution.
