Two Men Arrested After SF Cllrs Cars Attacked
Two cars belonging to two Sinn Féin councillors have been attacked in L'Derry.
One of the vehicles was set on fire in Kildrum Gardens and the windows were smashed on another vehicle at Oakbridge Park in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Sinn Féin councillors Colly Kelly and Sandra Duffy owned the cars.
Two men have been arrested in connection with the attacks.
Meanwhile, Sinn Féin Councillor Jim McVeigh has also had his car attacked by protestors at the gates of Belfast City Hall.
He said: "As I tried to enter the back gates of City Hall my car was surrounded by a crowd of loyalist protesters.
"My car was kicked, bounced and struck with sticks.
"I was verbally abused, and several of the crowd were shouting insults about the murder today of Gerard Davison. Their behaviour was despicable."
Mr McVeigh has made a formal complaint to the police.

Sinn Fein's Jim McVeigh has confirmed he is stepping down as a Councillor. The leader of the Sinn Fein group on the Belfast City Council announced that he will officially stand down in February. However, he will continue to work as a Sinn Fein and trade union activist.

Former SF councillor’s home attacked
Army bomb disposal experts have defused a nail bomb thrown at the house of a former Sinn Féin councillor in north Belfast. The device did not explode after it bounced off a front window at the house on Cavehill Road on Thursday morning. The house belongs to former north Belfast Sinn Féin councillor Mick Conlon.

Sinn Féin Office Attacked In L'Derry
A Sinn Féin office in Co L'derry has been partially damaged in a suspected arson attack. The incident happened at the premises on Eastway Road in the Creggan area shortly before midnight. It is thought a rear window to the property was broken and a flammable liquid was poured in.

Thirty Cars Damaged By Youths In South Belfast
PSNI are hunting for two young males who allegedly damaged thirty cars parked in the West Belfast area. The youngsters are reported to have "scratched along the entire sides of these vehicles while walking past them", causing thousands of pounds worth of damage.

Hatfield Bar Reopens Following Police Search
The Hatfield Bar in south Belfast has reopened following a search operation by the PSNI and customs officers. Four PSNI land rovers, a police van and three HMRC cars arrived at the Ormeau Road site just before 12 noon on Monday, 14 May.
