Man Arrested Over Murder Of Nelson Cheung

A 24-year-old man has been arrested by police investigating the murder of Nelson Cheung.

The 65-year-old restaurant owner died following an assault on the Caddy Road in Randalstown on 8 January.

His wife was also injured when Mr Cheung's car was forced off the road.

The man was arrested in Antrim on Tuesday.

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. Two other men were also arrested and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Nelson Cheung: Man Charged For Perverting The Course Of Justice
Police investigating the murder of Nelson Cheung have charged a man with perverting the course of justice. The man, 24, has also been charged with possession of class B drugs. He is due to appear in court on 2 June. Mr Cheung, 65, was killed after being stabbed on the Claddy Road in Randalstown on 8 January.

Man Arrested Following Incident At House In Coleraine
A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August. The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of possessing of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an offence and assault on police.

Sixth Arrested Over Randalstown Murder
A sixth person has been arrested by detectives investigating the murder of a 65-year-old man in Randalstown, County Antrim on 7 January. A 25-year-old man was arrested on Sunday. Two men aged 30 and 43 were arrested but have now been released unconditionally. Six people remain in police custody, including a boy aged 14 and a girl aged 16.

Teens Released In Co Antrim Murder Investigation
Three teenage girls, arrested in connection with the murder of 65-year-old Nelson Cheung, have been released pending further investigations. Mr Cheung died of stab wounds after he was attacked on the Caddy Road, near Randalstown, on 08 January. Police arrested two 16-year-old girls on Wednesday morning and a 17-year-old girl on Wednesday night.
