McColgan's Food Creates 43 New Jobs

SDLP Westminster candidate for West Tyrone Daniel McCrossan has welcomed an announcement from McColgan's food that they will be creating 43 new jobs in Strabane.

He said: "I am delighted to hear that McColgan’s have decided to expand their business here and will be offering increased opportunities to the people of Strabane.

"McColgan's has been a part of Strabane for over 50 years and has gone from strength to strength particularly in recent years with their product being found on shelves across the country.

"It is local entrepreneurs such as this that we have to support and encourage if we are serious about growing our private sector and weaning Northern Ireland off its dependency on public sector jobs. This will require among other things serious investment in infrastructure like the A5."
