Brick Thrown At House In South Belfast Being Treated As Hate Crime
A brick thrown through the window of a house in west Belfast is being treated as a "sectarian hate crime", according to police.
The house on Walmer Street was attacked just before 7.30pm on Sunday.
Sectarian abuse was also shouted at a woman who was in the property at the time of the attack, however she was not injured.
A man was seen fleeing the scene in a silver.grey car in the direction of Haypark Avenue.
Inspector David Gibson said: "Hate crime is unacceptable and I appeal to anyone with any information relating to this incident to please contact police at Lisburn Road on the non-emergency number 101 or alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."

Traffic Warning For South Belfast Ahead Of Northern Ireland Match
Road users are advised to plan for potential traffic delays in the south Belfast area on Friday, 15th November due to the UEFA Nations League football match between Northern Ireland and Belarus. The match will take place at Windsor Park, kicking off at 7.45pm, and it is expected that around 18,000 supporters will attend.
