Armed Robbery In North Belfast

An armed robbery has occurred at a shop in north Belfast.

Two men, one armed with a hammer and the other with a screwdriver, entered the premises on the Whitewell Road at around 6.20am on Wednesday.

They tied up and threatened two members of staff and stole cigarettes.

The men made off in a Volkswagen Polo which belonged to one of the staff members.

The staff were left badly shaken.

Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Two Staff Members Stabbed During Attempted Robbery In West Belfast
Two staff members have been stabbed during an attempted robbery at a chemist in west Belfast. The incident happened at premises on the Falls Road at around 9.30am on Thursday, 06 April. A man, armed with a knife, threatened and assaulted two workers.

Investigation Launched Following Armed Robbery In South Belfast
Police have launched an investigation following an armed robbery in south Belfast. Three men, armed with knives, entered premises on the Boucher Road at around 7am on Thursday, 21 April. The men tied up two members of staff and made off with a sum of cash. It is believed they left the scene in a white van in the direction of Boucher Crescent.

Staff threatened in armed robbery in South Belfast
Police have appealed for information following an armed robbery in South Belfast last night. Two men, one armed with a handgun, entered an off-licence on the Upper Lisburn Road at around 8.25pm. The robbers approached members of staff and forced them to hand over an undisclosed sum of money before making their escape.
