EasyJet increase Belfast to London flights
Leading budget airline, EasyJet is set to expand its UK services at Belfast International Airport.
The airline, which recently doubled its Belfast-based staff, announced it is to increase its low cost flights from Aldergrove by 15% next month.
From October 26 EasyJet will increase its daily London flight services to 15 a day, with Gatwick increasing by four flights a day, Stanstead by five and Luton by six.
Earlier in the month the airline announced it was to recruit an additional 24 cabin crew, bringing to 89 the number of cabin crew and pilots working from Belfast.
The announcement of new jobs came on the back of strong July results for the airline's routes to and from Belfast.
The percentage of seats filled rose 4% year-on-year to 85%, whilst passenger numbers remained constant.

Loganair Takes Over Two Flybe Routes
Scottish airline Loganair is to take over two former Flybe routes from Belfast City Airport. The flights to Aberdeen and Inverness will commence later this month and run on a daily basis, the airport has announced. Flybe entered administration early this morning, 05 March, with all flights cancelled across the UK.
