Police arrest man following drug seizure

A man has been arrested after police seized an estimated £15,000 worth of drugs at Belfast International Airport.

Drugs Squad officers made the seizure from a man who had just disembarked from a Manchester flight on Thursday. Officers described the find as "significant".

A police spokesperson confirmed that a 33-year-old man was helping them with their enquiries.

Man Arrested In Connection With Drug Seizure In Belfast
A 28-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a drug seizure made during a police search operation in Belfast. Officers from the Belfast Central Neighbourhood Policing Team and officers from the Paramilitary Crime Task seized a quantity of suspected Class A and Class C controlled drugs.

Irish Police Probe Fatal Stabbing
A 25-year-old man has died and two have been arrested after a stabbing incident in Co Meath. The incident happened early this morning at the house in Rathmolyon. Gardaí discovered the victim at about 1am before he was taken to Connolly Memorial hospital in Blanchardstown, Dublin, where he died in the early hours of the morning.
