Jamie Bryson Found Guilty Of Taking Part In Unlawful Public Processions

Union flag protestor Jamie Bryson has been convicted of taking part in unlawful public processions.

He was also found guilty of obstructing traffic during a protest in Belfast.

The charges included four counts of participating in four un-notified public processions during January and February 2013, and obstructing traffic on the city's Newtownards Road.

Bryson, 24, of Rosepark in Donaghdee, is to be sentenced next month.

Flag Protestor Jamie Bryson Granted Bail
Union flag protestor Jamie Bryson has been granted bail. The 23-year-old, who has spent almost a month behind bars, faces six charges on the ongoing flags dispute. He has been refused bail in the High Court twice, however in Belfast Magistrate's Court on Wednesday his lawyer said Bryson had agreed to strict conditions.

Loyalists Arrested Over Flag Protests
Leading members of the loyalist union flag protests in Belfast have been taken into custody. Spokesmen for the Ulster People's Forum Jamie Bryson, 23, and Willie Frazer, 52, were arrested earlier. They are being questioned over organising and participating in unlawful parades.

Alliance Refuses To Appear At Hearing Over Jamie Bryson
The Alliance Party has refused to appear before the Westminster Northern Ireland Affairs Committee because loyalist blogger Jamie Bryson is to give evidence. Alliance leader Naomi Long and Mr Bryson were on a list of witnesses invited to give oral evidence to the Northern Ireland Affairs Committee.

Alliance Condemns Banner At Irish Language School
Alliance has condemned a banner, which has now been removed, erected at the site of a proposed Irish-medium Integrated School on Montgomery Road in East Belfast. The banner called for the Scoil na Seolta ('School of the Sails') to relocate from the area 'to where it is wanted' while also reading: "Relocate Irish school to where it is needed".

Contentious East Belfast Bonfire To Be Moved To 'Safe Space'
A loyalist community group has announced that a contentious bonfire in east Belfast will be moved to limit the danger to nearby homes. The East Belfast Community Initiative (EBCI) has said that it has facilitated an agreement with the Bloomfield Walkway bonfire builders to move the bonfire to a "safe space".
